We are pleased to announce that the first National Day of Prayer Walk-A-Thon, to benefit the Greater Works Foundation, is being organized. The Greater Works Foundation provides housing for sexually abused women, supplies food for the hungry and education to the incarcerated and less fortunate. The Walk-A-Thon will take place on April 28th, 2007.

We are passionately concerned about the things going on in our communities like the violence, sexual abuse and illiteracy. On the platform, following the walk, there will be elected officials, community leaders and a host of other guests who serve this community that will challenge us to stop the violence.
